McMurray & Sons started in 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa, when founder Thomas J. McMurray decided roofing was a trade worth doing right — not fast, not cheap, right. In 1948, he packed up the family and headed for Eureka, California, and never let go of that same standard.
The company incorporated in 1964 and grew into one of the area's steady employers — the kind of business a town builds its trust around. A Crescent City branch followed in the late '80s, and in 1991, we planted a flag in Bend, Oregon, because Central Oregon roofs deserved the same century of know-how.
Two states. Two locations. One family name still on every job.
